Just sit back and think about it a little...... How much fun would you have with an airplane that has 1:1 power to weight ratio?? I find that some (most) online calculators are very inaccurate. Best thing to do is to fly each of the props you have, and choose the one that suits your flying style best. ECalc is about as accurate is one can get. But it is for Electric flight. You'll find out that the DA150...- Bunky.F.Knuckle

Left muffler has been coming loose and rebuilt the carb with fresh gaskets and diaphragms. I think it'll come around once I.get the muffler situated. Because no matter what I do on the L needle, it doesnt change. I should blow the carb out, while I have the cowl off and muffler work being...- Bunky.F.Knuckle

As I daid before in the engine for sale thread, I've been having issues with the muffler staying on. Im.hoping to remedy that, this week, or early next. I have a set of 5mm helicoils coming in. I'll get it fixed 1 way or another. :)- Bunky.F.Knuckle

I think it'll be fine. My buddy stuck a 30x13 on an old heavy 3W 150. Spun it with ease. It is actually pleasing on the ears, not hearing the prop rip. And honestly, it isnt much louder than a good solid can set up. Spun that prop at 6K....... I was aprehensive about him trying a 13 pitch...- Bunky.F.Knuckle

Id have some sort of a center post or dual post method when using as a shelf, for the hinge down method. Could do the same thing for the hinge up method as well. 3D A Red Aero RC 108 Corvus is born!
Got a little more work done on Pedros airplane. Had to come up with a way to stiffen the can mounts. I opted to use some tri stock. Works out well!! Trailers... I wish I had done this.
Looking at either a 6x14 or 7x14' trailer for all my stuff. Hoping that it can still be used for something other than RC once I get it, like 4 wheelers. :) Hoping I can get a deck shelf installed in 2 pieces, that I can hinge up and out of the way?- Bunky.F.Knuckle

I think I may get a 31x12 Falcon carbon for my D300/3W 164 (3W157 lower/170 upper) and see how it flys. Mine needs a bit more speed for me to be happy again with it. 10 pitch isn't cutting it, even tho it pulls like a Mack truck on the uplines. My D300 was 38.5#, even after the repair to my wing panel. 4600 on a 150 with that heavy load TBM prop isn't bad. A MenzS will turn about another 1K faster.
