Interesting I moved to ProFlex because I had some problems with Viton splitting, I know it has to do with hardness, but have not seen any difficulties with the ProFlex up to now but will keep an eye on it now that you mentioned it.

I use barb fittings everywhere and after I got the ProFlex on it started to split. I mocked up a piece of copper with a light solder around the end and it did not split. I figured it was great for a slip on with wire tie but I just as soon use Viton than have to wonder about it.

Instead of using barb fittings use compression ferrules. Soft tubing will slide right over with out splitting and any tension on the ferrule will not cut into the tubing like barbs can.

Well great news for me. I finally got CAD installed on the new laptop so I can go back to designing things. Got a couple ideas that should be fun. Y’all stay tuned and someone please start cutting some wood.

Trying to hold of for the winter want to make it my winter project. Still need a gas tanks and my wing tube. Tube has been ordered but still have to order the tank and not forget the servos.

SERIOUSLY HA HA! 15 pages of hangar talk! I'm still in wingtube search mode, servos, looking to get the DLE20 but my normal peeps are out of stock for now (VVRC/NWRC), Plans are printed... Plus, I need to finish my Otter... that's the biggest hurtle. Summertime makes it hard for sure!

Got the 8 oz fuel tank ordered and payed for it but it is on back order, so could take awhile. It’s the new tank or version V2.
