Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

The Glitter has been flown and it now has 12 flights on it. The CG as shown by @BalsaDust is perfect, will not change it.
Fun to fly and extremely violent machine. It will do anything and so fast you cannot even count that fast. The only thing that I have to look into is the wing and fuselage is starting to have some clearance.

Thanks for the update!! Glad to hear all went well. I'm still trying to find the time to cover mine! I've got a friends plane I'm in the middle of finishing up. Hope to get back to it soon. Let us know what's causing the gaps. If I need to add anything, now's the time.

No info right now but busy disassembling the plane to see what is going on.

Got the plane back together flew it today. Had to make some changes and seems to be working not sure as of now need more flights to confirm the changes worked.
The plane sure is different to anything I have ever owned. All I can say it is like flying a piece of dynamite. And the only thing I can say it is one of the best aeroplanes to fly like you stole it.

Sounds about like how I would describe flying any of the other size glitters I have built and flown. It likes to be pushed and from what I have found as long as you dont push it into the ground it will keep asking for more. Never found any bad habits in the plane. I have had one other friend describe it once by saying "It's a fun plane that is very forgiving yet keeps you on you toes at the same time."

What is happening is when you are doing violent snaps at very high speeds the following happens the wing is extremely strong and stiff and also the fuselage with both having carbon tubes. But unfortunately all of these forces are focused into one location and that is were the wing tube and the fuselage intersect and it is only 5/8 wide. So what happens is that the hole in the fuselage gets enlarged quite quickly, and the balsa around the wing gets compressed . Next thing you know is that the wing is loose.
Still working on the changes depending what happens on the next few flights will decide to leave the changes made or put it away and take a long look at it over the coming winter. The changes I have made are not proven yet.
