I think I'm going to steal @Pistolera 's design to build a painting stand. It looks like it will give plenty of working room. I learned back in the early 80's when I painted my first RC airplane (An Aeromaster) that setup is one of the most important keys to a good paint job. If your struggling to get to all the edges the results will probably be bad.

Yup, done. Remember, this is prototype of prototype for proof of concept.;) See how it comes together, may have to make a special one for GSN to give away. @SleepyC and @Bartman put your thinking caps on for a week or two. Needs to go to someone who is building something cool this building season.

I will post the final product on Tues or Wed.

Man I wish the plane I was building had a wingtube so I could enter...

I think it would be cool enough.. Just no wingtube lol..

Not sure if this has been posted yet. This is my absolute favorite stand. Very stable and easy to put your plane upside down and on it's side to work on and the casters are great for moving it around. It's a little pricey but well worth the money.

Looking forward to Terry's final rack for the larger planes.. :D

The cart works pretty ok.... keep all the parts and pcs in the bottom, roll it out of the way when you need to...
