Stabs are almost ready! Next step= glue on LE and TE, then sand it down, then i can set the incidence. Then I can cut the elevator off, then hinge it!

The wing is almost ready! I need to glue on the LE and the TE< then i can set the incidence, then I can cut out the aileron!! Getting closer!

It sure does look nicer with the servo box installed prior to the sheeting. I guess it can be done either way. I will not say one way is better than the other. On the stabs, i did it the traditional way.

I was at Lowes, looking for paint for the motor box area, then I came across a thread on paint for the motor-box, and I was saved by Bunky Knuckle. HE posted to stay away from paint, and only used thinned EPOXY, which i will do, so this Dalton will have the "natural wood" look!!

Success!! I am very proud. I have yet to do the most dreaded part of the build, besides covering and painting. I love everything else, except sanding, then painting, then covering!! ARRRGGGGG!!!
I have to get over it and move on, but there is a sunny side!!
The weight of the wings, tips and root, are very very near, and this is before we finish the wings, once i sand it all down, then i will re-weigh them.

Very encouraging. I probably used a bit more glue than others, but, the adherence is phenomenal, no loose areas!
