On the sheet that will be on the bottom most shuck, I drew out the hinge line on the skin, this will actually be the skin for the top of the elevator/stab. Now I know where not to put CF tow.

This is just to give an idea of where the tow is. On the bottom aspect, i need to take into consideration the placement of the servo box and the hard point for the control horn.

here is a step to save time and make things much easier. Wings only have the phenolics glued in so far. I have made the root caps. The goal is to glue in the hard points on the root of the wing, so that the plywood root cap can then be glued to the foam and the hard points. I will also glue in the servo boxes before sheeting the wings, as well as the root caps. I do not believe i WILL core out any parts of the wings. Here it is, 1st I placed the right wing on the airplane, and got a round idea of ZERO wing incidence. I then introduced, from the other side of the fuselage, a very long drill bit, that the tip was heated with a torch. Very easy, now I know where to place the hard points!!

I have now glued the skins onto the rudder/fin.

I also obtained a 3/4" thick flat plywood piece, and cut it out to the shape of the fin, and another piece same shape as the wings. This will help support the weights to compress the foam shucks while the glue is curing.

Very nice Cam. I for sure will do something similar to marking the where the anti-rotation dowels go and probably also place the servo boxes before sheeting the wing on my next build (if I ever finish the one I'm on). I thought about doing the boxes before sheeting on my current build but I was worried about them being in the wrong place after I cut the surfaces.

I also like having the ply root rib glued before sheeting too. To me it's a little cleaner and maybe easier in the long run.
