I did that today also but im no 100 pecent sure I plug in the right settings. I had throttle response 10. pwm changed from 8-12khz. timing set to mid-5 start power 100.

I set my timing to high(10), throttle response to 10, and pwm as high as it can go(24)

If you turn off data logging, you may pick up some power.

ill give that a try. Just don't know how or why I had the same exact setup in my MXS with the same esc settings but still losing.

I also went from a 16x8 xoar to a 16x7. That wouldn't make that much of a difference would it?

John, get with Matt (manta) he knows the correct castle settings for the motrolfly, as he did all the testing on them.

That could be a significant loss in power.

Yes I think it could ask aeroplayin over in the power thread, he knows exactly cause he tested them both on that motor

16x8 to 16x7 will most def drop the amps and watts a little bit. Have you flown the plane? If not satisfied Id hit the 16x8 back up if it was not overheating the motor or esc. :)

I wish I was going.

Seems like somehow ive dropped about 350 watts on my Laser setup from when it was in my MXS. I did put in a new motrolfly but kept the ice 100 from the MXS. I switched motors today and still not quite the same. First im gonna reprogram endpoints and if that doesn't work im gonna switch out esc's. Also I was pulling over 70amps now it peaked at 60. I tried different lipos also.

Can you tell me your new motrolfly's kv/I'm assuming you have a 4315? pwm on those like 8pwm. hard start. timing around 12 deg. usually low or custom. medium is ok if you dont get squeal. i recommend fully charged pack on the ground and multiple fast run ups from dead idle ( please run an idle) to make sure it doesnt skip a beat. And yes, ditch the logger feature.

yea its a 4315-480 timing options on the CC ice 100 is 10-5-0 custom. i have mine at 5 atm. I did fully charges packs on the ground with the wattmeter multiple fast run ups like you said. Ive always ditched the logger.

guess im gonna order some 16x8's. I thought that i like that better than the 7 on the MXS. During the summer heat with the 16x8 i never went over 100 degrees(that was on a high 90's-100 day) on the telemetry. the heavy ice 100 was cool as Manta.
