next, mounting the cowling, then make up the scale steel tube mount.

The cowl just mounts with plastic L brackets, with nylon 4mm screws through the cowl. The cowl mounts flush with the front of the firewall.

Then you use the spinner to locate the motor box. I won't be using the motor box, and will be going with the Valach 210cc four stroke twin. I'll also be running the zimmermann two into one canister.

To mock up the new mount, I used the stock mount and making up an alignment fixture.

Nope... Full scale is the same way. Besides there is no way to do a cowl ring... No hatch in the front.
