Next, I'll pull the wood jig, and finish weld the front part of the mount. Then pull the whole thing off and finish weld the firewall mounts. I don't want my plane to burn!

I have some interference with one of the carb mounting bolts.

I'll have to cut the bottom tube for clearance.

I also have to make the delren bushings that will go between the engine and the mount, and between the mount and the firewall.

You can see the bottom engine mount not touching the motor mount because of the carb bolt hitting the bottom bar on the mount.

I was curious to what it would weigh. It's 19 0z.

To compare, the stock wood mount is 16 oz, and I didn't put the hardwood in it, and needs to be glassed on both sides.

In the end... This will actually be lighter.
