Here's the longest and shortest vids of the Avanti. You can see at the end of the longer vid a shadow of his hand with a cig in it lol. Guess it was burning a bit short and he had to put it down lol. I agree though that the bigger 90mm fans like in the F-4 I want are only getting 3 to 3 and a half minutes on 5000/6000 packs. This is where the Avanti S new motor excels for a 80mm fan.

Today was to be maiden day for the Python if everything went well. Good news was the engine ran well. Bad news was something in the electrical system affected the control surfaces. Both the left lower aileron and the right elevator were jittery. And no, it was not the joker moving the sticks! I’ll troubleshoot the receiver between now and next weekend, then try again. Sky was incredible so I had to take a few photos before packing up and heading back home.

Behemoth Yak (2) is on the charger. Tomorrow is my last day of vacation and since it is Labor Day, I am going to cut all the labor of the last five days to a halt and take to the skies. Hope you all get to do some relaxing with your planes this weekend.

Alien Extra is all charged up! My buddy coming to get me with his trailer tomorrow so hopefully will finally get the DJ72 in the air and see what it will do .

You mean you are "FINALLY" going to fly that thing? I am surprised that 72cc hasn't up and left you for someone that will play with it on a more regular basis.

Camping at the river this weekend. There’s a large field directly across from our lot but no runway. So I brought along several foamies to fly that I can hand launch. Good thing too, cause the fish ain’t biting.

Pop-Top, the Behemoth Yak (2) and me taking a break in the shade at the field. Gorgeous weather. Blue skies, no clouds and lite breeze. Almost not enough to land the monster Yak. Lol
