Very nice.... Looks like it was well taken care of. Hope it flies really well.I bought this a bit older 3DHS Edge 540 a few weeks ago. Bought a DLE 35 and Hitec Servos and misc to finish it off. It is ready to get engine running and initial adjustments. Hopefully get to put a couple flights tomorrow.
Now that you mention the battery capacity, it is a question I always ask myself when I see the size or better said the capacity size of the battery's people are installing in there planes. Of all my planes I have never been able to use more than 380 mAH per flight and that is in a 40% plane weighing 40 lbs. at 5 flights the most you will need is 3000 mah. That leaves you with a 30% plus safety margin so two 1500 would be sufficient or at most 2 -2000 mAH packers. I must say spending sometime at the 3 D line at JoeNall most the planes had 2-5000 mAH packs. But a few were running what I believe to be some what better and one of them was Jase he was running two 1300 mAH packs I believe. Or am I missing something. The weather looks to be a bit crappy tomorrow, but I am going to chance it anyway. I think the Pitts is needing a little more wringing out. Changed the weight to get a little bit more on the tail and had to do a minor thrust adjustment. I was also quite impressed with the battery usage from the initial Maiden flights. As many of you may remember, I went with twin PULSE 2s 3600mah Lipos to operate everything including ignition on the "dub" 70 twin. My goodness, she is a little miser. Barely 400 mah used on both packs for three really good flights. Is that about normal for Lipos guys? I am used to the Fromeco Lion Relions I use in all my other birds.
Wow I thought the 20+ were having here was bad, 50 miles an hour would blow your plane away before takeoff.30 to 50 mph
