The body is covered it doesn’t look to bad. Now all that needs to be covered is all the parts. 7 of them rudders, elevator and elevons and a bunch of hatch’ s.
That little white spot along the nose is the light reflecting of the plane not a hole. Getting a signal piece to cover the front took some work but being that it is a 4 stoke YS on glow trying to minimize the amount of seams to prevent fuel from creeping under the covering.

Sold a few things and need to ship them off to the new owner in Kentucky so I’m building a crate for them. Frame work is all ripped from a single 1x10. Cardboard will go on all sides and the bottom has a layer of foam on it. Need more cardboard and need to get everything wrapped up really nice and pretty in bubble wrap to keep it from moving.

1/4" luan isn't much heavier than cardboard and a lot more damage resistant. Not free though.

Yes I have some 1/4” luan scraps I’m gonna use on the inside in some areas. It will be interesting as the buyer wants it shipped grey hound and I have never done that before.

Found a cool 12VDC submersible pump suitable for oil, water, diesel and gas service on ebay for less than $15 shipped. Went and built a 5 gallon storage/transfer tank with it. No more spilling gas all over when trying to fill my mower and flight gear. No more lifting a heavy 5 gallon gas can. Using 1/2"ID poly tubing It moves about 3 gallons a minute! Found the bulkhead tank fittings on ebay too. Total cost to build Minus battery $32 :).

Making some more progress on the ukulele. Frets installed on the fretboard and fretboard attached to the neck. Then I got the back glued on.

Very cool Mike. I do have a couple of questions... first, when you get the fuse glued on, what servos you gonna use for the tail group? It has a tail group right? And second question, Is this going to be electrified or are you thinking maybe a "dub" or a DA? Oh, dang... put a Kolm 50 single on there!!!
