A package got dropped off today, I wonder what it could be...…. The McDaddy of all McDaddy miniature table top table saws. This thing is unbelievable. I just had to try it out so I grabbed a piece of ply and balsa, ohhhhhh baby! I wish I had bought this years ago!!!

They are a great saw, have had one now for a couple years it is my favourite tool in the shop.

I am using the 4" blades, the two carbide's have a kerf of .055 and the fine cut is .04. I had been looking at one for a number of years and thought maybe one day. Mostly because of the cost, but I will honestly say if I had any idea it was this well built and precise I would not have waited.

@acerc have you looked at Byrne’s little disc sander. There is very little info around on the unit. The problem I think is that it is not variable speed if it was I would have already had one.

Less than 1/16” kerf. Wow that’s impressive. Won’t eat up too much extra material when using it.

No I have not, not for a disk sander, I'll stick with the cheapo's on that. But I am considering the thickness sander though.

That is the only thing that did not surprise me as I use 4" blades on other tool's. On the 3" blades, which are for much finer cutting, the kerf gets much smaller. For example the 3" 110 tooth has a kerf of .02 and .028 for the 224 tooth, that makes for some seriously nice plank ripping abilities.

No I have not, not for a disk sander, I'll stick with the cheapo's on that. But I am considering the thickness sander though.

I have the thickness sander not one of my better buys.
