Well got the bottom done on the Typhoon. Finished of the exit hole for the canister and made small deflector. It looks like the stinger is not long enough. It is about 1/8" from being flush with the bottom of the fuselage. I will have to extend it but I do not know with what right now. Anyone have any suggestions. Would like it clear the fuselage buy at least 1/2" inch I believe, do you think that would be enough not to burn the covering.
Finished the cover plate and just need to screw it down and glue the Landing gear plate down.

Hey Snoopy1 if you get the outer diameter of the pipe and call greenline hose and see what they have . They sell all types of hoses from food grade up to industrial quality . It's worth a call .
Great idea creating a low pressure area infront of the exhaust outlet it will help pull the heat and exhaust out..

I built my firewall and started my cockpit tub.
100 fits nicely on the nose!
Added 2 degrees right and down/fitted the cowl too.
Looks like you did a nice job planking the fuselage. Was a war bird guy but still appreciate looking and following. Do not have the patience anymore.

Like those barrier panels , if that doesn't work so well have the ceiling sprayed with expanding foam it's been used for insulating trailer for years with excellent results .

Well the stinger extension has been bugging me for last week. What ever I did, did not look good. Just looked out of place or just wrong. So today I made an extension. Trust me it did not work the first time, after few tries it worked. From a solid 5/8 round bar it was made. Had to buy some numbered drill bits and 15mm rearmer. Well the picture shows the outcome. It is a tight fit but not sure yet what to use to glue the extension on, will have to think about that.
