With the 104 the edge wont fit. So 104 it is. Need a cg check any way since the pilot bust went in. I know it has to really suck just to look at that beauty of yours and not be able to fly it. Have not been doing much flying down here either so don't feel bad. You can always freeze your hind end and run glow crap on a stick to take your mind off it! Will be doing follow up flights with my buddies Lazer as well so one plane is good enough for me. Don't know about you but I find it rather difficult to fly two planes at once:confused??:.

Good thing is Spring actually comes early to the Boise Valley. By the end of February, we should have some chilly but flyable weather. To fly two planes at once, all you need is the Snapasaurus mojo.

So I did the final touches on the Sukhoi tonight. Double checking assembly, attachments, Motor mounting bolts, prop bolts, exhaust, wiring, fit of cowl, wings and stabs. Installed onboard tach for inflight reference. And final step, balancing. I balanced it according to the manual for the initial flights. After that, I may change it, but may keep it as it is. Empty tank, perfect balance with just a tad of drop on the tail. My thoughts are with a full to half tank of fuel, she is going to be right on the money. Maybe, just maybe just a twitch nose light. (which I prefer) 42 pounds on the money with no added ballast weight to balance. Man, I like how this turned out. Next is the maiden flight when the weather finally warms up where I won't be frozen to the bones.

I have located a 3W-170 for a good price and am about to pull the trigger. At least I would have a reason to take mine out of the box.
