Sport Racing plane for 3 cylinder Kolm engine.

Try spinners from EF. They come pre-balanced. I have a bunch of the 3" ones and a 4" one and all have run true. Will be picking up a 5" soon for my 104" Extra 260 rebuild.

If it hadn't had power pole connectors all through it I would have just flown it as is to see first.

Picked up a new to me plane last week and got it maidened yesterday. 65" 3DHS Vyper. It came Receiver ready but I wasn't happy with a few aspects of it. First off was the ESC. Previous owner had it mounted all the way back near the rudder pull pull servo and second its a 12S rated ESC so it was...

Now the fun part. Repairs are complete and covering is stuck back down just need to find my heat gun to helps lay it all back down smooth. Coworker of mine 3D printed me a set of baffles for and it fits well in the cowl. Then onto mounting the engine and throttle servo. I think the engine will...

Spent a little time each day last week laminating all the parts for the rebuild that needed to be (only had enough weights to do one part at a time). Had to make a new mounting tab for the cowl and then got F1 fully glued in. Then I started going around any 90 degree joint between F1 and the...

Little more work completed yesterday. F1 fitted as well as one piece of each side of the motor box. So now I just need to trim the side doublers as well then I can laminate the sides together as well as laminate F1 with its doubler as well. My hope is when its all back together the only place...

It wasn't truly necessary as F1 was only slightly busted at the top corner but if I had left it in there it would have taken so much longer to get the motor box sides removed all the way back to F2 as well as the bust motor box floor.

So a while back a buddy of mine gave me his EF 104" Extra 260 after he had crashed it. It needed a motor box kit, cowl, canopy, and a right wing. Well all the parts showed up finally so its time to start the rebuild. The left wing needs minor repairs just to patch a couple of holes in the...
