Pinstriping is difficult and time consuming but it is looking good. Have a question when come to the end and you have to connect to another pin stripe how do you cut it to get it exactly the same and in line with the bottom one.

A lot of trial and error! And a little price of tape on the edge to show me where the end on the other side is.

Finally got the pinstripes masked up on the fuse, landing gear and tail. And because it took 3 days to get it done, I got a little worried about leaving it until I got the wings masked.

So I hatched the plan to get the fuse, LG and tail feathers finished and then do the wing. That way I can try to get the tape off ASAP.

It's now white :)

Wow that is not easy to hide black with white that must have taken a few coats. Does look bigger in white. I can never wait long enough to pull the pin striping off to see how it looks. Great job.

Actually, dope will cover really well. It only took 2 coats to cover the black. The only spots where it didn't do so well was on the elevators, but I'm pretty sure it was my fault, and I just missed spaying those spots. I'll touch them up when I spray the wings.

I'll get masking for the red tomorrow, and maybe get it sprayed. If not I'll spray it Tuesday morning.
