    Show Your Fish

Fun day on the water with friends. I caught a little small Hybrid Striper. The little girl got to see her first cat fish.

The two white stripes on the bottom of the Raven weren't enough contrast for me yesterday after a few flights so this morning I added two more to match.

That looks great. I need to get more chickens to add to my coop. The single chicken I have can't keep up with the amount of eggs we eat.

I found there to be alot let damage that I originally thought I would find.

Raven will go back in the air today. Fuse was simple. Just remove the busted wheel pants and then just wick a bunch of thin CA in the cracked formers before installing electronics. Added a little wood filler to the crushed balsa on the wing before sanding smooth. I like this filler as it goes on...

Opened up the wing on the Turbo Raven this morning before work. Damage isn't as bad as I thought. For the most part should be able to just press stuff back together and wick in some thin CA. Maybe a few bits of cross grained balsa in key areas. I see no reason this plane won't fly again next...

Not much to show on this one. Some random 30cc sized yak a flying buddy gave me that had never been flown. I threw a spare set of PowerHD LF20 servos in it I had and picked up a XPWR30cc and Castle Edge HV 80 ESC. Will get it's maiden today during my lunch break. HRB 6S 4000mah lipos in series...

That looks like fun for sure. Maybe if its still available next spring when the next EF Wings Over America happens I could get it as I hope to make it to the next one.

not even a winter project. It will be back in the air in a month or so.

Picked up a new project today. Just call me Oscar the Grouch without the Grouch part as I love other peoples trash. A buddy had an unfortunate run in between a EF 69" turbo Raven and the ground. It was destined for the trash if I hadn't said I would take it. Broken wheel pant. The left wing...

Wow. I can only assume it had been in a bad crash at some point.

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

I flew one a while back. It flys way better than I expected it to for how much it weighs.

Scale 112” - Taylorcraft by HeyLuc & Snoopy.

@heyluc Looks nice. Might I ask what design software you are using? Also just my opinion. Fuse and tail look great but to me the wing has way to many ribs in it. For reference I attached a picture of a design I have just finished up. Similar in size at 110" span. There are 10 ribs in each wing...

No question you should do a build thread.

Got the NAV Lights in the first wing last night. Very happy with how it turned out. Will wait to actually glue them in until I verify everything works.
