Scale MattyMatt's Exclusiv Modellbau 50% Challenger II

I covered these parts first, so i can pink the fuse and then put the front glass panels on, and then get the canopy mounted. The scale rib stitch should be here any day, and i already received the correct scale pinking material from Pink-it. I'll give links and more information when i get to...

Scale MattyMatt's Exclusiv Modellbau 50% Challenger II

Thank you Waco... it was fun. I've wanted to do a scale mount for a long time, and this worked out really well.

Scale MattyMatt's Exclusiv Modellbau 50% Challenger II

Also, all the wiring and servos are in the horizontal stabs and the wings. Running XBus made the wing wiring much easier and will be really easy to put the plane together. I'll go more into the servos and electronic setup later and explain everything. Sunday, I started covering... i have only...

Scale MattyMatt's Exclusiv Modellbau 50% Challenger II

I have been busy working on the challenger the last few weeks, but bad about posting! I have the steel "scale like" mount finished up, and is a complete module; engine, ignition, exhaust system and mounts, throttle and choke servos and excess oil catch, are all mounted on the tubular mount...

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

Earl... I'm in the process of setting up a contest for the 2016 year... I have a small reference group and would like your input as well. Please send your contact info. Mbalazs@triad.rr.com.

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

Personally I think it's hilarious that IMAC requires a pilot and panel, yet the planes are really far from scale. It's like putting tits on me and calling me a hot woman! or calling a NASCAR cup car a street car. Lol There is interest in what is coming and it's time for something new... I'm...

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

As I said before... The concept would have nothing to do with IMAC, for all the reasons everyone mentioned. No arguments from me. The issue with most pure scale contests, is that they are dominated by warbirds, jets and early aircraft. Not much in the world of really scale aerobatic...

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

Just think how light you'd be if you were 50% scale now! Lol.

    IMAC Terryscustom 35% MXS-ST Prototype

It would be great to see scale aerobatic planes that were really scale! I think you are on the right path. Get the fuse cross sections right as well... Almost every IMAC plane out there is thinned down and flat sided. Most of these planes don't have flat sides. The only issue with the MX, is...

flight log app for giant scale/gas

I use a flight log for the jet, that i made on Numbers, and I have a general comments section as on a full scale log book. It is a requirement from the AMA for any Turbine powered aircraft. Pretty simple to do.

    IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

Waco... I can check. Just to explain a bit about the 1/2 positive setup in the wing, this is really just a setup thing and has more to do with flying style. For example, the more nose heavy you want the plane, the more the positive in the wing would help. These are very fine adjustments that...

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

Could be... Maybe even with a scale sounding Valach 4 stroke... And smoke on the whole sequence. Lol

    IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

If you need any pictures of mine, that was built by delro, please don't hesitate to ask.

    IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

Lol... So true. It goes like this, you look at it and come up with a few different ways to do something, and you spend two hours figuring this out. Then you go for it, that takes 15 minutes to actually do. Then you look at it for 30 more minutes admiring your work or how awesome it looks...

Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

Hey Brian, When I mentioned this concept in another thread, my intentions have NOTHING to do with IMAC. This would be something completely different. It would not integrate into IMAC today, as they are way too far apart at this point. I'll have more information together in the next few...

    IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

Waco.... You're doing a nice job on the build. Understand that the completely built planes by Delro are custom built competition ready planes. If you compare it to a custom built Carden or dalton... It's a deal. I can tell you when I build Daltons for customers it is about 3000-3500, just...

    Scale 35% Krill Extra 330SC....CUSTOM-ARF!!!

Earle... the Krill looks great. It's funny, I'm in the middle of hinging my canopy on my Challenger II... and then i see yours! Wow... The challenger has the hinges on the inside with offset hinges. Working out the details yet. Yours looks outstanding.
