    Gotchya'. I agree, if you'll need to access the bottom of the engine you'll need to take the prop off and that what split cowling is all about. But, what they did and thought about maybe is like a car's hood. Ones in a while you just want to see if everything is ok with the engine like plugs...

    Very rigid and light. You don't need to add extra wood bolts and screws to the frame. Once the two halves are connected they are very tight.     Looking for a different method other than strapping my bird to a high ladder and figuring the cowl spinner alignment. I'm scared of heights ...;-) It's an Extra 330 so it's crucial.

    No cooling fans I'm a NACA ducts fan. If I'll see that the regs will need an extra cooling then ill cut them and install them in the fuse.

    @Joe Hunt wow i love it already. I've always wanted my Savox servos to work with a native 8.2 V. Question, if I'm using a 2 cell 5000 mAh batteries how mAh can I use with a 3 cell i.e. Can I now use 3000 and still get the same # of flights ?
