No. That really does not "twist my cookies". What does then one might ask??? Having friends with professional paints and spray booths and talent and I have to still try and get that "wet look" from a rattle can :dancing-poop:. FUTILE just FUTILE :face-palm:.

    Wanted 3w 85 or similar

Cool. It was on page 4 or 5 on FG classifieds "engines" but I just got off there and it is not there anymore. Figured some one nabbed it and as it turns out it was you :). beans bro!

Saw a Red Head single 85CS over on FG. Looked clean. A bit pricy though IMO but I think he gots some other junk attached to it. Check it out.

Got the DJ72 snugged with some cooling baffles. Giving this more thought it will be beneficial because of static pressure that develops inside the cowl. And the 72 sets inside the cowl more than the DL50 did o_O.

Help! Anyone own the 104" AJ Slick?

Hope I don't die whilst in one of the lulls :concern:. I want to die :). But for me.....Think its a 50/50 chance . Love The "Openness" and floor area. Seems just the right amount to feel comfortable and easily manage. Good Job :attaboy:.

Got the Capacitors in. Has helped reduce the flutter in the elevator servos during up and down travel but it is still there just a little bit. Just plugged them into channel 8 and 9 ports of the AR9140T Rx for now. Hope to get some flights especially with the new engine. Not looking good though...

Nothing new. You probably know :sneaky:. Involves adjusting the regulator a tad to achieve best idle and transition. As a matter of fact that is the only way (regulator/pump) to adjust the DZ series engines. The air bleed is "fixed" no needle to adjust. Note the hole only in the throttle barrel...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Congratulations :attaboy:. Just a note....... The manual gets you in the ball park with starting 1 1/2 turns out LSN 2 1/2 HSN. And even though it says LS needle it is still just an air bleed passage built into the throttle barrel. That's why the direction of the LS needle is opposite of the HS...

Your welcome David. Was not trying to steal your thunder but I actually gave Paul a Tettra tank to use. I then proceeded to go and wreck my van on the way back from the PO. Go figure .

I find white paint can cover up almost anything and still look good. But if had used "Nitrile" gloves to begin with I don't think a  predicament would be a concern . But I'm no expert either .

I too have had Sullivan and DuBro tanks split at their seams and leak. That's why I went to Tettra "Crank" tanks. They are specifically designed to hold crank case pressure. David still brings up a good point however. Even though the Tettra tanks wont split under pressure they do expand a bit...
