Are you going to register with the FAA? Cast Your Vote!

I refuse to register, PERIOD. Someone please explain to me why we have to register, but John Q. Dronepilot doesn't have to. This may just make me give up RC flying.

    Best size trailer?

Id like to have gone to a 16' tandem axel, but I opted for the 14' single axel v nose, which get me 15.5' in the center of the trailer. My trailer is 6.5' tall and 6' wide. If I would have went 16' or longer, I surely would have gotten a 7 or 8.5' wide trailer.

Two Receivers with One JR 9503???

Bind them both at the same time. Otherwise, your Rx may not know what to do. Or go with 1 12ch PowerSafe Rx. :)

Petitioning AMA members for separation from drones

The biggest issue is John Q. Dronepilot. They have no idea or a conception of rules that have to be followed. They have no idea of what AMA is, nor would they care to know. It would be simple for a programmer to insert a couple lines of code into the brain if these quads, and once verified...

Altitude: how it affects fuel/air ratio

I personally, dont use RPM as a gauge. Is it nice to know how fast the engine is turning, yep. But Im not out of every last RPM I can get. Most important to me are a couple things..... How does it transition? How does it fly? How does it pull out of low and slow 3D aerobatics?

FAA Announces their rules for radio controlled aircraft

I have a very short attention span when it comes to pod casts. My attention gets drawn away very easily, unless Im a physical part of it.

FAA Announces their rules for radio controlled aircraft

I think it is actually a recommendation, it a requirement or rule. Just like this garbage going on now with the FAA.... Should be a recommendation, but not a requirement or rule. I think I have put 1 of those please call if you find me tags in 1 of my airplanes.....

FAA Announces their rules for radio controlled aircraft

My radio controlled aircraft is NOT a drone. A "drone" is a vehicle that flys with a camera and autonomously. First gyros, now this..... Sheriff Buford T. Justice said it best.... "What in the hell is this world comin to"......

So, tuning a carb to make an engine run right, kills the warranty now..... Must be some other 3 lettered engine?

    Muffler Bolt torque value?

Its kinda hard to get the short end of the allen wrench in a stock muffler to tighten it. :) Im referring to the mufflers where you have a bolt going up thru the down stack.
