I think that because that would not be fair to the rest of us with a disorder...everyone should get a participation trophy...oh I mean Revolution biplane.

My kids aluminum scooter has similar wheels to the big inline skate wheels and they are quite a bit heavier than the 110mm inlines. I think they are wider too. I will weigh mine when I get a chance to go buy a 9 volt battery for my digital scale. Really? A 9 volt. Who uses that anymore?

White Rose makes top notch stuff. Thier tailwheels are second to none.

I have a spare set of the ones in my posts. They came as a set of 4 so if anyone wants a set of the white and black K2 wheels with bearings and the tubing, p,m me. They are 110 mm.

Switched back to the 27x10 and flew much better. My edge tracks really nice in the grass with these wheels and there is no squeaks or chatter no matter how fast you land. Very smooth. You guys that fly alot will have to try them and report.

Ok, so, so far I did one flight with the new wheels. To me it seems a little more wing rocky in high alpha but I also had a new carbon prop so I may be not used to the 28x9 carbon instead of the 27x10 wood before. Knife edge seemed the same.

It looks like they come with the bearings installed. I bought cheap chinese 608 bearings because I don't need the plane to roll 200 yards after landing. I researched having plastic bushings made specifically but it was too spendy to have molds made.

The white rose are probably lighter. The rubber on the inline wheels is dense. I will weigh them with bearings latet and post.

    Wheels!

Possibly. Or white rose could make titanium 8mm shafts that are threaded at one end to bolt through the gear. Then throw on 8mm collars and be done.

Actually, it looks good without the wheelpants too. Just get a polished aluminum spinner for a small electric with a set screw and put it on the end of the axle. I might have to dig around and see if have one that size.

Obviously you cut the tubing flush with a razor blade. The lock collars are just big enough to hold against the inner race.

You can get them at most sporting goods stores. I actually wanted to try some a few years ago on my smaller planes but never got around to it. I was surprised to find that they have big ones now. Anyways, they have an 8 mm hole in the 608 bearings so I used 5/16 0.d 3/16 i.d polyethylene tubing...

I decided to do something different. I used 110mm inline skate wheels. You can get them in every color under the sun. The local ski shop only had black and white left.
