    I have never flown an extra. Maybe you guys that have owned edges and extras can tell us the difference in flying characteristics? To me it looks like the extras land a little hotter but track better at higher speeds. Like I said, I have never flown one so I can only go by videos.

    They are for a PAU edge. I run the sullivans on my Hempel cub but they are a little heavier. (Hempel provides the same useless wheel).     Just an update to answer my question. I bought a Powerbox Competition and got it all set up with ease. Running the smart fly optical kill and it all works flawlessly. Plenty of room for more gadgets. I am still waiting for a bigger radio to come out from Hitec however.

    Got 8 flights on the edge now. After a little p mix advice from Terry, she is spot on. I am sooooo happy with the performance of this plane. My only gripe about this plane is that it won't leave me alone when I am sleeping. It taunts me in my dreams!

    Dan, how does that extra fly? Just curious because my buddy had that plane with a dle 170 on cans and he complained that it ballooned on throttle and dove with the throttle off. He tried thrust angle changes to no avail. He flies imac and has owned several large scale aircraft and was stumped...

    I had a dle 30 that shook bad. I bought a vv 40 twin and at idle there is virtually no vibration. I have that 40 in my hempel 25 cub. My buddy has the same plane in a different color and he has a dle 35ra and it doesn't shake nearly as bad as the dle 30 did. It is not as smooth as the vv40 but...
