    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Gentlemen, a bit of an update for you fellas. Due to certain mitigating factors, it has been ultimately, undeniably and absolutely, unequivalently even decided that this 112" Don Smith P51D Mustang will not be built without the most quintessential badass inline on the planet!! Kolm IL 150 or...

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Oh heck yeah! We like classy. Kind of like Madeline Stowe. Hey... what an awesome idea. "Miss Madeline"! Now I just need a scheme to go with her.

Wanted Saito FG 14 four stroke gas

Actually, I believe mine was laying horizontal. I had been told it made no difference on how they were installed. Either way, the original Surpass 1 was better off as a paper weight. LOL

    An Oldie But A Goodie

Yup! That is exactly correct. I know I am anal, but I keep an up to date record of all my planes. Logging flights, repairs, issues...(The famous Sukhoi glitch gremlins) and of course recharge cycles. At a moments notice, I can look back and compare previous flights and times with my recharge...

    An Oldie But A Goodie

Way to go David. Good to hear of your success. You sure have been deserving of it. If I may, I would like to offer a few suggestions on your covering scheme. Just from my own trial and error I have found a couple of tricks that really help when covering. Since you are an Ultracoat dude like me...

Doug, have you considered Carbon Fiber gear? Or does anyone out there even make after market CF landing gear these days? I know of a few that have come and gone. I was just thinking how much lighter they would be yet probably much more forgiving.

I wouldn't call that a bad trade-off then. A quiet darkened basement sets the perfect mood to spend time with one of your favorite gals!

Weather is perfect for a bit of Pilot RC 330 action. My son and I will be testing our new MZ 32 Graupner radios in the 330's. Ugh, scary feeling. Will keep you all posted. Now get out everyone. Go flying!

Yes, it is pretty much done! There is no retrieving that one. Ask for what happened, it went straight up the minute he left the ground and he was holding quite a bit of down elevator just to keep it flying. He believes that it was way tell heavy. I find that a little hard to believe especially...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

A few years back, (actually like five or maybe even six) I sold my Hangar 9 Mustangs. The original 150 Marie and the 60 size Blue nose. Both flew really well, but I was really interested in going Giant Scale Aerobatic. Yesterday, I bought them back in the "EXACT" condition unflown since the last...

Wanted Saito FG 14 four stroke gas

Thanks Mike. It is a really good deal if a guy is interested in...in...oh crap, I gotta say it. Glow. LOL. Just not for me. Funny thing about them O.S. Surpass motors. The 70 was a "clock". Between my son and I, we had many of them. He still has one after many, "MANY" years and it still starts...

Wanted Saito FG 14 four stroke gas

Mmm...ok! It really is a pretty cool plane. Nav lights and smashes the scales at about 9-10 pounds. (Supposed to weigh in at about 6-7 pounds. But still hucks as well as any other 3d plane. Oh wait, this is a trainer? LOL. I redesigned the wing attachments. Instead of using rubber bands to hold...

I am looking for a FG-14C (82B) 4-Stroke Gas Engine. I would prefer basically new condition however willing to accept slightly used. Anyone have one of these animals they would like to part with? How about the Glow version? I would take that also. Let me know what you have. Thanks...
