    Hey Ben, I solved my header from slipping off the Teflon by adding two extra clamps. That did the trick and was cheap as I had the clamps from previous "altercations with terra firma"!!

    A couple of questions on servos

    FYI Futaba servos use a 3 x 8mm in case you want to order some for your Futaba servos. The first thing that I do is remove the Phillips head screw and replace it with the hex head cap screw. I also use a Star washer under the cap screw.

    I also use Fromeco Li-ions but I use a Hitec x4-80 and charge at 2A using the Li-po settings Charging to 8.4 (unloaded) usually takes less than 2 hours.

    Gasser Throttle Servo, What Do You Like?

    I may be different but I use the same servo for throttle as that for my flying surfaces - in my plane that means a Futaba BLS 172HV SBus servo! I also leave the throttle return spring hooked up. I have not been able to see a discernible difference in amp/volt draw with or without that spring...

    Looks great Cam. I would suspect that you need about 2.5-3.0 degrees of right thrust IF it's not already built into the firewall!!

    I had my ceiling put in with 1/8" paneling and it sags pretty bad. If I had to do it over I would have used 3/8" plywood!

    I also use the Formula 56 (I think that is what it is called) than I have had for some time! RE: cutting the ailerons. I usually mark up the top side of the aileron cutouts using a heavy dark pencil or pen on the wood itself. But be sure to mark the side with the aileron TOWARD the bandsaw...

    Does it have an SD card for storage? Also, IF it has an SD card can the data be transferred directly to an 18MZ?

    3D Number of Hinges for a 40% Plane?

    The hinges are about 7" apart just be sure to NOT put a hinge right where the control horn should go!!
