    Da100L 3blade setup

I'm thinking it was labeled 25x12s but I sold it a couple years ago and can't really be sure.

    Da100L 3blade setup

I had a Mejzlik 25x12x3 on a 100 with Re2s. Was very, very quiet and pulled pretty good for a 3 blade.

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

I had the Cap and the Edge with a ZDZ 80rv and had to use standoffs. Seems like I remember my buddy's H9 planes using oak blocks to mount DA 100's.

question for anyone on a tool to do a job

I'd use the Dremel as Jody mentioned. I bet that reamer will cost more than the extensions. I used black thin wall Teflon tubing from McMaster Carr.

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

I would still toss the standoffs. Terry is right, these new 120 class motors are brutes. They are approaching 150 class power in some cases. BTW, is that a H9 33% Cap? If so, you are going to have crazy power with that 120. Should be fun! :-)

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

On that plane I would tri-stock the top and bottom of the firewall, tri-stock and epoxy the top plate, and definitely toss the standoffs and use a laminated ply mount. If it's possible I let the motor box extend 1/2" or so past the firewall and tri-stock all 4 sides. Sent from my iPhone...

Who makes the best Glow Driver?

Nostalgia... Picked this up the other day. My grandfather gave me one just like it back in 77-78 or so. I was too young for it and never got to fly it.

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

Same here. I have a few and never an issue.

    Moving to High Voltage

I stop at 7.2 under a 1 amp load. I may be leaving a little on the table but I feel safe at that number.

    Moving up to 100cc questions

Looks great! What prop did you get those numbers with? My piped 123 gets stupid loud on the 29-9 Wide Falcon, but OMG it is strong!

    3D CAP 232-ST design / build / prototype

Awesome! Looking forward to this one. Will be cool to see a modernized Cap. I learned 3D on a Hanger 9 33%. Very stable, predictable plane. For what it's worth, I like the snorkel, but the screen looks great also.

35% is the sweet spot for me.

My 6x12 V nose. Wire closet shelf and 12 foot LED strips down either side. Foil backed foam insulation and luan in the ceiling, 3/8 plywood walls. Painted the floor with Rustoleum epoxy. Next project is lightweight shelf across the v-nose section.

    Prop Rip

Pretty sure both will rip. Think smaller diameter, more pitch.

    Prop Rip

29x12 might be the ticket. Mine has a 29x9W Falcon. Insane thrust but over 1/2 throttle it will "rip the drawers off a fat gal". I bet the 30x8 will be worse.
