It sure is fine and dandy to have RC buddies who's shops don't just produce model planes...........My long time friend also fixes model plane haulers:fist_pump:.

I have to agree with all said here. And it is not just the engines but the whole concept of RC flight. Stubborn is the correct adjective at play here. I have seen people who have the desire and skill sets but fail miserably because they think they do not need help. And those who are challenged...

I'm fine and thanks fellas. The only thing hurt (besides my van) was my ego. The speed was only about 20-25mph in bumper to bumper traffic. And impact speed was probably less than 10mph because my air bag did not deploy. I was amazed and shocked how these newer vehicles fold up though .

Yes looks very nice Rob. Going to need some of that kind of Painting talent (and then some) to fix my van. Met up with a Ford Ranger rear bumper today . My Toyota's front end lost the fight miserably :face-palm:. Ford-1 Toyota-0. Ford had a slight scratch on the bumper. Mine got hit like...

Thanks, This plane is actually grass field rated. I took off from the grass with no problem and it was cut to 3"! Did not get a chance to fly it again as my buddy had only one bat for me :(. I will have some very soon. Not the best day to Maiden. Cross wind 5-10 at our backs. The Aura did great...

@Snoopy1 here is a short vid of the Avanti. Bounce and go first landing attempt and second attempt 3 point. And yes I was VERY nervous. Been awhile since I flew a jet.

Tettra's worked very well for me. Would hold the pressure and wont split open like a Dubro or Sullivan can. Just don't pull open the wrong fuel dot first or you may get a squirt in the face  . And yes I have . And yes your welcome ;). I have two Tettra tanks that I know I won't be...

Odd indeed. I never heard of 72 Mhz giving problems to 2.4ghz although they do have more power output at the antennae (72Mhz). Was the 72 running PCM mode?

Great day for me too :). Cap 232's motor was spinning zippy stupid power (got it back from Flex) and the Maiden on my Avanti S. went without a hitch, glitch, FOD,, or other anomaly :woohoo!:

I ran 9102's at 6 volts before. Sometimes they would jitter a bit but it soon stopped once the top of the battery charge was gone. Good looking plane Paul. As far as the tank I think Central Hobbies carries those. Tetra tanks are the same way and that is what I used to use. @Alky6
