Believe it or not but the Black Bears are down here in the deep south too. One was just spotted swimming in the Gulf headed to the Orange Beach area of Gulf Shores. This is like the 5th time they have been spotted swimming the Gulf in the past 3 years.

Just an FYI......Doing some research I found that Moki's founding mechanical engineer(Ferenc Somogyi) was from Hungary and he was responsible for the two stroke racing engines and diesel engines of the early 1950's (and the more recent 140, 180, 210 ) to compete with the Czech company MVVS. He...

Sport The Kool Kanary (Giant Hot Kanary)

:ooh?: Oh my! That looks absolutely splendid. Really like the "Flushed Head" cowl attachment method too. Very sporty :attaboy:.

Are you sure the engine is not a bit too lean on the HS needle?

Help! Anyone own the 104" AJ Slick?

Just get the tools to drill and ream 10mm, 8mm, 5mm and 4mm. What's the Valach's prop bolt pattern? Have a drill guide for it? Props that have all their holes drilled and reamed and drill guide used are Awesome :).

When the time comes and you find the Ignition is not up to par just get a new RcExcel for it. You can find them for about 60 bucks to the door. IMO probably the best ignition out there for the money. You might have to change the prop hub to a single magnet depending how old your 42 is.

RCS would do great too. Side by side pics of the 5 and 7 cylinder radials. I think the RCS line is made in Italy and Moki in Poland. There also may be waiting lists for both. I have seen good deals come on ebay for the Moki's. MokiRCS MokiRCS

Had to pull the motor on my CAP and send it in :(. I think one or both bearings loosened up causing power loss and vibration. Only 4 flights. I hope they don't take long because this plane is a pleasure to fly. I really need to get busy:dancing-chicken: and swap engines on the Alien since I'm...

Help! Anyone own the 104" AJ Slick?

Power and throttle response would be better. Sorta like the 2cycle twins in that aspect. YS has been doing it for about 50 years now but only did a 120 prototype twin. Not saying it does not perform well "as is" just saying it could be "Supercharged" basically and be a real beast of an engine. I...

Now all Tanner has to do is take pictures in sequence so when we "scroll" them it works like an Old Timey Movie o_O.

Help! Anyone own the 104" AJ Slick?

I would pull the trigger on a nice four stroke like the Valach if they would build it with an induction system going through the crank case. Would not need that oil catch and performance would increase 10 fold :)

The ASP 400 is a glow motor and only about 60cc. Way to small an engine for your need. Moki 250 5 cylinder or 7 cylinder would be an excellent choice as @stangflyerand @Jetpainter said. 250cc of fire breathing ROAR!

I got planes ready but I don't think I will ever be ready to face the "Hot Soup" we have for weather right now :ugh:. Got to learn to be a "Morning" person again so "wheels up" by 6 am o_O.
