    Covering should arrive tomorrow. Traced the Raven's feather pattern from the less-damaged left wing. Glad I had that much of a template to go on. I'll just flip it over for the right wing. BTW - I removed the center strip of black primarily to inspect the sheeting along the top of the spar...

    They are nice trophies....I've collected of few them. Although I suppose this is my favorite IMAC trophy...so far! Gonna be even harder to get one in Advanced :confused:

    Looks like foreign object damage to me. That's a heck of a bite outta the piston too. Assume the ring is still intact...no missing section? Stihl Ultra is good oil. I ran that for several years at 50:1.....until I got a great buy on a gallon of Red Line. But my engines (DA120 and DA150) both...

    Left wing LE and right elev counterbalance replaced. All the wood repairs are finished and awaiting covering. I was hoping my order would get here before this blizzard hit, but no joy :(. So......no more excuses....clean off the table and get the Krill out :mario-banana:

    Opinions please - Fixing Misaligned Manifold/Canister

    Not much of an angle....I'd probably go with the Telfon coupler just making a small bend. Another option is to insert a large wooden dowel, or pipe into the canister fitting and put a slight bend, which will occur in the end of the can itself. Won't take much. I'd still try the coupler alone...

    I've seen it happen often (not passing out)....just not breathing for extended periods, which doesn't help your focus, or anything else. I sometimes still catch myself doing it, but usually I'm only out of breath from laughing!!! :LOL_gif:

    I got "neighbored" at the local RC club last fall. Not from rollers, just vertical uplines (within the confines of the club airspace) freaked out some locals who complained to the county board of supervisors. The fellow (club member) who owns the land the club is based on, unilaterally banned...
