I’m sure he could cut them for you. Not sure on cost but the couple of kits he is selling I feel he is selling for a fair price. As far as colors on plans I just made it easy for him. I will post a pic in a bit when I fire my laptop up to explain. It wasn’t something he asked for just something...

In AZ waiting for paperwork to finalize so we can take our daughter home. Been freaking perfect flying weather every day for the almost three weeks we have been here.

Lol I gotcha. Yeah #33 is refered to as the good electrical tape. Some other stuff out there I think it’s #59 that absolutely sucks. Once it’s below like 50 degrees outside the 59 stuff becomes hard and brittle and will not stretch like it needs too.

Mine was a piece of tempered as it was supposed to be for a door which makes it more expensive but really strong. I don’t have to worry about dropping my weights on it and breaking it. But remember a bit on the edge of tempered glass will shatter it into a million pieces.

Also bud I got my piece of glass from Virginia auto glass in Petersburg. It was originally supposed to replace the piece I busted in my sliding door but still hasn’t been done so I use it for this. Lol

I have been building on glass cause I’m too lazy to move the piece of glass after the last plane is covered. Would still build the same way without it though as I do like snoopy and use weights. I just find it easier and don’t like pin holes all in my builds.

Yup. The wing is still sitting half down on the workbench. Got burnt out on it so took a break to work on other things. Now s little girl in the house (well as soon as we make it home) so build time will be limited but it will still get finished.

And we need a build thread done on this 1/3 scale cub. Not enough build threads going currently.

Lol I have knocked tail wheels and slide off my profiles including my big 55cc one. Always just say screw it and drag the rudder and fix it once I get home. Then again I fly off of grass so it doesn’t hurt it too much.

I have never had much luck with a sock on the iron. What I have found works if you get adhesive or color on the iron is to have a clean rag close by. Put a little rubbing alcohol on it and wipe the hot iron down with it. Cleans it up real nice.

Yes paper is under the glass. Just there as a guide in laying out the paper. All it is is butcher paper.

That’s not a problem at all. Yes needs to be the same covering. Shrink rate I don’t think is that big of an issue more of the temp at which each starts to stick. At first I used a piece of glass out of an old picture frame. Worked good but on larger sections you had to do part of it then move...
