Ain't that the truth. Citabrias are beautiful birds. I really like the look of the 35cc great planes one. Well I like them all but that one seems right for me.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Lol I have been on the fence about it. The plane looks and flys amazing its just not the get down low and slow 3D bird I want. Really just does nice scale stuff though it does do a pretty pop top. I have a guy local that wants it so i may sell it to him. Honestly the funds from selling it prolly...

Hopefully this helps some. One pic of the stab before I sheeted it. I used a 3/8" tube in it. Second pic is the spar sammich I was referring to. the final pic is where that piece is located. It made the elevator really strong.

Ok I still haven’t made it to my shop to get measurements yet but to be honest when we designed the 55cc edge and even the smaller versions and my Giles it was all just going off of what looked appealing to me and my buddy as we did things. As for the tail surfaces it’s all 1/2” thick. Fuse...

Looks good so far bud. First I have a request and I will PM you my email address but I would love to have a file of just where you have the engine drawn up. Would be a big help when I finally get my 55cc edge profile from paper and into CAD. Now my little bit of input on what you have drawn so...

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

So your build has me motivated now. A club member gave me his old world models 1/4 scale clipped wing club about six months ago after a crash knocked the firewall and landing gear out from under it. Also bent the wing tubes and broke the cowl and canopy. I’m gonna do a basic repair on it, slap...

Sport The Kool Kanary (Giant Hot Kanary)

Looking great there bud. While the stars look great on it and o do consider myself a very patient person I don’t think I would have been able to do them all without driving myself mad. I know how much work is involved in hand cutting a bunch of checkers so I can only imagine with those.

Did you see my pm with the CNC guys info. If you go the route of him cutting stuff you can order from SIG or somewhere like that and have it shipped to him.

So you can see in the pics here that I draw the radius and just sand it square afterwards. Green lines meen cut on the inside of the line and blue lines meen cut on the outside of the lines. Not sure how thick of ply he can cut but I know he can cut up to 1/2” balsa at least. I know he is...
