    Exactly!!!! I have been looking at scratch building one of those with the suspension and all. I don't know how a guy would build the leading edge slats, but +1 on that. They should do a spot landing stol competition at Nall.

    I know this is an older thread but, I am running that motor on 10s in a Rc Guys aerobat. I am running a Biela 18x10 3 blade. It is a 17 pound pig but it was clocked at 100 mph. In my opinion, it isnt the best 3d setup if you want a light plane. I think Hacker has the right setups for 3d planes...

    Those are the Positive Reproductions bushwheels. They are 11 inches diameter. We thought about getting those for our WM 1/3 but man are they heavy. Nice pics.

    Where are people buying parts? I did some more reading up. Sounds like ignition problems now. I think for now a DA will be great. Next build I will see if there are any GP's actually in stock. They seem to sell out the minute they come in. That's a good thing.

    I would be willing to give one a try. The smoke mufflers is a big plus for me. I would have to flip some extra coin for mufflers/cans if I buy the DA. You guys say planebender sells them? I will dig into it. I thought they were still backordered but who knows.

    That was one of the engines I was considering. Two big selling points are the tapped for smoke mufflers and a walboro carb. They seem to be decent motors.     Would it be safe to say I should pin the firewall regardless? Probably good insurance. I don't plan on being nice to this plane.

    On a more serious note, the elevator looks insane on that bird. You will probably be able to perform walls on low rates.
