    Aerobeez 88" Slick 540 (50cc)

Yup, but the problem was with my brain and not with the engine... I had switched the sensor and supply wires. I took one look at it today and immediately saw the problem. Don't know how I could have missed that...

If only the engine would have started... :( It looks SOOOO awesome! Well, better luck next time!

    72" Extra 330SC

The only thing I would add is that if you're flying it off of rough grass, you may want to reinforce the wheel pants. Put some fiber glass and epoxy inside the wall that faces the plane. That'll make them last longer. It's one of the best flying planes on the market, so it's well worth the hour...

...and you thought your 100cc 3D plane was giant scale? Well think again! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b8XhpYBkZo (To put things into perspective, the wingspan is less than three feet shy of that of a full-scale Extra 330....)

I'm really starting to have fun with my 71" Slick now that it's a "free plane" and I can go a little crazy with it. So nice and floaty down low, but spins like a top in poptops when I get the timing right! The popsicle sticks and epoxy added a little weight, so I had to move the batteries back...

    Toledo Expo 2014

I'm so looking forward to flying these air frames! I spent all afternoon yesterday smiling thanks to my 71" and 51" AJ Slicks so I can't wait to see what AJ has in store for us now!

    42" Vyper Bype

They seem to have gotten the reputation of being a bit on the difficult side to fly. I may have to pick one up to see if it's true. :) If I can keep it in the air, it can't be too hard to fly! :)

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

What's the size of the 71" Slick main wheels? 3DHS says 3.5", but that can't possibly be true. I'm not near my planes right now and I need to order some generic wheels (since they're out of stock at 3DHS). Anyone who can measure for me?

Interesting read from the AMA today -NTSB judge rules FAA ban on commercial UAS/Drone

Fun fact: this Brendan Schulman character mentioned in the article is the guy who shot that awesome FPV video of Joe flying James Rini's 89 at the NJ FLI last year. I think Gyro remembers him.
