Well I did not get to work on the plane Friday, but I think that I made some good progress today.. I got the Rudder glued. I got the, control horns, servos and linkages in the elevators. Elevators are now in place on the plane as well... Installed the Pull pull on the rudder...- toysforbigboys

Gas engine backfire
actually I have, Holy hell did that get exciting....and It was caused by a prop strike....APC prop on a nitro plane adjusting the needle before flight...sliced me open good.... could not get it to stop bleeding with just instant CA....so took some medium with kicker and that did the job...but...- toysforbigboys

The whole fuse is like that....might add some weight, but I will take the weight for the strength...this plane was designed around the DA50, and I am going to put a 60 on it, so I think it is still going to pull vertical forever.- toysforbigboys

Well I did not get a ton done with the plane last night... I did get the fuselage and the rudder ultra cote stretched back out, they both had a ton of wrinkles. I hate having to re-shrinking the covering, one slip and you have a hole...but I made it through it with no holes. :woohoo!: I did...- toysforbigboys

CA glue was used in the Vietnam War to heal our wounded warrior... I have used CA many time to close up a wound...burns like hell but does the job...no need for stitches- toysforbigboys
