    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

In my 78 with the VVRC-40 I cut out the last bay in the tunnel bottom for exit. Lighter than making a blocking plate.

    Aj aircraft 93,73,56 laser

The only thing that might improve it's rudder is move the CG back. With the 4315-480 I was slightly on the nose heavy side. There is a lot of side area and it acts as a sail in the tumbles. It has plenty of authority to do knife edge loops, just it does not tumble like a top like the MXS or even...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

I will have to go look at my rolls but I think it is midnight blue, true red, and white. The Blue is the only one I am not 100% on.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

The airboss only goes up to 6V I think. One reason is to get 6.6V so you can maximize the 5245s. Another is just to have more headroom in the system than the built in one. Also some people just don't trust built in BECs. I run a lot of them because most do not support HV servo voltage. The...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

I told the story a few times on the various threads. I installed the elevator servos per the manual with the splines aft and put on 2" arms. When full down the linkage was close to flush. A few times on the bench while setting it up the recoil from a full down would cam over the linkage. I...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

When I had to replace a elevator servo I dialed my high rate back to 75 degrees or so. At full deflection I am afraid of a cam over like that happened to my 78 and I found that I did not use it. I mostly do down elevator tumbles so that rate is more important to me.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

I have played with the tip on my 76/83 and I have decided to not ever use them again. They add wing area, but reduce the roll authority a lot.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

They have not done a Black Friday sale that I can remember. They did 10% off one year for Toledo, but the complaining drove Chris nuts when people missed it. 3DHS does one usually though. I will keep pimping the 60" Laser as it is the best 60" I have gotten to fly. I admit I have not flown the...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

With my electric it climbs in almost any tumble. You should have similar power with your setup. It does more rotations in a pop top than the 78 does, but still not 104 silliness.

I never did get into profiles. If you go and do IMAC you will want a 40%.

It is cheaper than the GT60 I bought just because it is quiet. I am swearing off buying anymore singles. Be nice to not be the beta tester on a setup. Which Vess Stealth do you want to try? I have a 22B that will be dormant for the winter.

I use a lot of Hacker motors. Only issue is that they only come in certain sizes and winds. Luckily 3DHS bases their electrics and sets them up for Hacker. There is always stupid expensive Plettenberg.

I left mine off and the pants. I fly basically only off grass but I agree the cuffs look nice. They are going onto the 74 laser for sure.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Probably just make a light ply mount that elevates slightly on the aft part of the tunnel so that you can get straps under it. That or just dremel slots and run the straps through the tunnel top. It looked like Jeff had a pretty slick setup in his. I got one of those stupid heavy Dubro tail...

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

I just looked and I have some 771s as well if you want a cheap servo setup. They are just not the specs HP claims. I actually liked the 772s, but there were used in a 50cc stick. The guy whom bought it from me had to tone down the linkages in that as the servos did not have the torque and...
