    Extreme Flight 74" Laser

Which brushless servos? I know there is a LV brushless one they make. You have 4200 mah of capacity running 6 servos and the IBEC. I would do 2-3 flights, then recharge and see what you put back in. With LiFE, you need to get a sensitive battery checker that will go to the third decimal place...

I can't wait to hear how the "turd" compares to the EF offering.

I have 2x 2s 1300 glaciers which is what I usually run in 30cc planes. I am using 2270s which should be more efficient, but they are big servos. I might have to goto 2600s or get 1800s from someplace. The 2600s I have are pretty light though.

I was getting a right around 7k that last time I ran the 20B on one of my twins. I have RPM telemetry on it. Also realize that was with a mature twin and this was literally the third time that motor had run, first time on the pipe, with no tuning. I just got the new 20x9 from Patrick whom...

Static. I don't know how to setup RPM telemetry from a DA ignition system. I can get a optical sensor. It has to be over 8k in flight as it unloads. The same prop does 7000-7200 static on my VVRC-40s depending on the day and tuning.

    Extreme Flight 74" Laser

There is a lot going on with learning a new radio, new engine, new setup with the pipe, so I stuck to mostly stuff that involved keeping the throttle up. I tried a few snaps and I clearly don't have the rates setup correct for that. Maybe it is just the time I have spent with the new AJ Lasers...

    Extreme Flight 74" Laser

Yes. It is a go pro strapped to my head. Nick is the other guy I am talking to. In the the third flight he is flying his nitro .50 heli. I especially like where at 2:25 on flight 3 where I do some waterfalls, and some pretty extreme loops. My kind of plane. Insane pitch authority.

Did the maiden today. Here are the videos from each flight. I need to fix the elevator halves matching and the throttle as it is pretty much on/off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko1bXg7JvU4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y75UPTm2BZ0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaZeivfEMEc

I had 5200 mah in total capacity and 4 flights is about the point I start to check them. They should have been at 50%, but instead they were 1 and 80 due to the crimp failure. Preventable mistake, but that is how life goes in this hobby. Airframes are expendables unfortunately.

If those are glacier 2600 2s, then I know it only last for 4 flights on a single as that is what killed my 92 last week as the other bat had a connector failure early in the day that I did not detect. That plane has a covered canopy floor so you can't see the lights. Another nail in the...

I have flown Gary's 91 extra 3 times now, and each time I have had a different impression of it as he has tweaked his setup and CG. At first it was pretty much perfect for me, then he moved the CG forward and I hated it, Now it a mature setup and I find it comfy. Not the way I would do...

I am a apple user if I like it or not as iPads are now our work device. Up here in the NE it is basically Verizon or Verizon as far as good service coverage goes. My AT&T iPhone would drop calls all the time when switching towers. There is an android device for the jeti. Not sure it is worth...

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

The thing with servos is that they will probably survive the airframe so have a plan for the future. 5585s or 7955 can be used in bigger planes, where if you got 5665 ($40ish) they would not move to anything much bigger. I run 5565s in 3 different 3DHS planes (Velox, Slick, Edge) on HV, but...

I have a question for the Slick history buffs. I have a 51 slick in the old Fantasy Blue (Crimson Bovine) scheme. I love the plane, but I don't fly it much due to the fact of how pretty it is and how little I want to smash it. If I were to retire the airframe to my office ceiling and get a...

When you maiden, use the SFGs. Tips are optional, but the SFGs make a huge difference with the higher wing loading.

Cody took some picture of it at the IMAC worlds. It is to get cooling into the aft cylinders of the DA-200. NACA scoops. Not sure how they were made.

I guess if I were super serious the question would be to build a Daulton MLE over the winter or just get the EF ARF.

Trying to get my 110 Yak to land was a real chore at times. It just kept wanting to fly with the high deck angle and giving the up elevator to brake just put it back into the air. If they made EF 125" Extra in the Red White and Blue scheme still I am not sure I could resist. Luckily the...

    Aj aircraft 93,73,56 laser

Some of my planes are setup on 4 switches as well with separate rates on aileron, elevator, and rudder, and a throttle curve switch. The curve switch is usually temporary until I find a curve I like. With IMAC you need separate rates as you will want low rates until you need more throw like...

I have the rudder pegged to the point it hits the elevator halves. About 80% expo. The SFGs give it better KE performance, but takes a bit away from roll authority and adds to the sail area of the side. Also realize I only had 3 days with the plane and the conditions were pretty bad most of...
