    I have to say,, the new system is difficult to manage from a mobile device, I hope a fix or " select mobile view "becomes available. Cuz its extremly annoying. From the desktop.. awesome, from samsung g4  sucks. Laptop or  pad is not always available for posting/ browsing, like right now.  Sigh.

    Your making me look bad here doc, what youve done this weekend took me a month ! LoL,  keep the steam up, everything looks great.sure wish mine had the canopy to hatch assembly, one piece lexan like that, makes for really nice lines.

    Thanks guys, that kinda stuff keeps me motivated. Digging the windex method but digging the trim solvent even more, only problem is its definatley a one shot deal. Added some 3/16" aluminum/silver to border the checkers, really makes em pop and hides the not exactly perfect lines. Heres...

    Thanks guys, appreciate the info. I have a rough time with super high heat, sock or no, so I do more passss with slightly lower temps and get good shrink. Every new piece put down gets a little better and better.by the time im too the last piece it should be perfect.:distrust:

    If you go with monokote heres some handy temp numbers that seem to work real well, use a thermometer to calibrate the settings for each tool and have been having good results. 20558=13100-20140925_192131.jpg

    Terryscustom re: the windex method im about t to use that method tomorrow and wanted some advice in steps, im assuming from reading other posts,that you 1: apply windex to covering 2: lay on stripe, backing removed 3: squeegee out excess windex and blot dry, tape ends down to retain tension...
