IMAC new to me dalton 260/300, just want to fly it!!!
A tru turn aluminum spinner would add a few oz to the nose with no weight penalty, Pardon.. meant to say WRE prop weight like mentioned before, vess is just a balancer, I did notice slower spool up w/ weight.. same eventual rpm, just slower getting there , like 2 full seconds slower to max...- IMAC FANATIC

Ive used epoxy mixed with lead shot and added it to the angles in the cooling baffles with success before, but the prop weight from vess is more functional weight. Id go that route before moving the motor forward or the hassle of pull pull modification. Would mess up the lines of a really pretty...- IMAC FANATIC

I dig the 230's wish there were more of them at fields, I almost went with something like that on the tail but trying to keep the scheme as close to the original as possible. This is the scheme I am going to use, with large black and white checks on bottom of wings and wider white stripes for visibility. Its not a typical IMAC scheme , but my hat says " scale aerobatics" so im choosing a scale subject, too bad no points are awarded for best of show, cuz this is...- IMAC FANATIC

Hey, how did you know I built a trainer with a warped wing ! I liked to call it " modified washout" lol. Well its a great looking heli, like to get one someday. Sure thing.. icy hot enroute.. quite a life saver. Put up a pic of the heli.. scale model or 3d ? I dig em , especially scale but cant quite understand the controls well enough to fly more than a trainer. Bad shoulder also great excuse to lay around n watch college football all day!- IMAC FANATIC

How many of you are running the new DA150L?
Doc, are you going to wait till your done with the break in prop prior to doing all the mixes and trimming? Minus cg and balance. I find everything changes prop to prop sometimes drastically. There's alot of different info on just how many flights/gallons , oil ratios , tuning for break in...- IMAC FANATIC

Pen and book here, gallons of fuel and octane and which station, cg location movements, flights and where sometimes with who, like a pilots log book, dont track batteries just purchase date , and put date on batteries w/ replace date, season end maintenance, fuel lines, filter ,all bolts...- IMAC FANATIC
