I'm hoping that the weather cooperates at least a little on Sunday. The forecast for the next few days is 101, 103 and 105. Sunday is supposed to cool down to 95, if you can call that cooling down, but there could be thunderstorms.- Jetpainter

Tonight I added some Nylock nuts behind the blind nuts on the engine mount bolts. I also made the battery mounts and epoxied them in. I ordered some battery straps that were supposed to be 200mm long, but are 280mm long. :( I have one strap that is the right length, but I'll need to rig...- Jetpainter

Last night I bolted my 12 pound weight to the firewall. Okay it's 12 ounces, but in my mind it may as well be pounds. They are bright aren't they! I'm using one in my new H9 Extra and I about went blind when I first powered it up. I'm used to my Powerbox Spark Switches with there red LED's that aren't that powerful.- Jetpainter

I turns out if I moved some stuff around I could get the wings on the Extra in my family room. Tonight I worked on matching the aileron servos. I still have a little to do on the left wing using the Balance feature on my radio which I've never used before, but I think I've got the hang of it so...- Jetpainter

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited
I ordered a carbon fiber stab tube today from Graphtech. They had one in stock still and are supposed to ship by tomorrow. Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi
I've never flown the 122" Sukhoi but I've heard some really good things about it. I did fly the 85cc one and that was a good flying airplane. I hope to maiden my 105" H9 Extra 300X this weekend so I'll get to see what it's like. It sure has been a trying experience up to this point. :face-palm:- Jetpainter

This is just my opinion as a DA fanboy, so take it for what it's worth. I would buy a used DA50 before buying the one your looking at. Now, I know nothing about the engine you looking at, but I have had 3 DA50's, all bought used. One of the two that I still have, has 11 years worth of use on it...- Jetpainter

I got a couple flights in today on my Pilot Edge before the tail wheel became a full swiveler. It uses a single spring and broke the end off. It lasted 4 years so I can't complain.- Jetpainter
