85% scale Pitts Python [Filmed in UltraHD and 4K]

It sure makes the 28% 50cc biplane I want to scratch build seem a little wimpy by comparison. ;)

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I just took a quick look through the online manual. It looks like a pretty neat piece with some cool features. As a Spektrum receiver user it's neat that you only need 4 satellites and not a receiver. I hope you have good luck with it.:)

    GSN GIVE-A-WAY Hangar 9 35% Extra 300X Assembly

I sent the DA50 that was on my Yak in a few years ago after I tried to drill for oil with it under power. The stainless header was mashed against the the fins on the head so hard the tuned pipe looked like an accordion, but it didn't even leave a mark on them. They did change the prop hub...

My original wings had the lump on the bottom of the left wing, the right was fine. It sounded to me like they had to go through a lot of wings to find some good ones for me. The ones I have now are pretty much lump free. How many rudder hinges does your have? Originally mine had 4. The new...

Thanks Terry! I've been stealing a lot of your techniques assembling this airplane. Thanks again for posting all the "How To" videos, it helps a lot when you don't have to reinvent the wheel. We miss your build threads here at GSN. I follow your stuff on Facebook, but things there get buried so...

They are stainless 4-40 button heads that I colored with a Sharpie. If you look close at the pictures, in one shot the have no washers and in the other they have small nylon washers. I haven't decided what the finished product will be. My buddy Tony never runs washers and the always look perfect...

I also do that when I'm sticking down a wire keeper. Some of the wire keepers have really bad foam two sided tape on them that I usually clean off and replace with 3M automotive grade tape.

I was a little worried about getting it apart, but it worked out fine. I was also worried about resin seeping out the cut and getting on the outside, but the 1/2" fine Lines tape I masked each side right on the line with worked awesome. Watch @Terryscustom 's videos in the thread in the link I...

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

It's tail heavy so I going to swap the aluminum stab tubes for carbon fiber ones if I can find what I need. I also need to fix the hatch from when I had to cut one of the plywood tongues off at the field when a blind nut went south.
