    No flying today so that means a little progress on the 330 today. I got the base color covering on the remaining stab/elevator and rudder. Quite basic, but at least I am making a little progress. I am probably strip the wings and forward hatch/canopy tomorrow. So far I am up to about 20 bucks...

    Don't feel bad guys. I didn't get to go flying today either. Beautiful crystal clear blue skies. With lots of beautiful shining sun to go with it. But Talk about cold as ever. Even my red heads were freezing inside the house. Winds gusting to around 16-20 and only about 30 degrees. Brrrr......

    That is really cool. You can design to exact detail pretty much anything you want huh? I sure wish I had a 3d printer. May have to look into one soon.

    Sad but true as it is. I discovered that same thing..."AFTER" I burned off a complete can of paint to cover a color I didn't want to show. Sad truth was, the color still showed through. Doah! Recent projects layed evidence that a few lighter coats covers much better than one heavy coat. Now see...

    The wing panels on the Behemoth Yak all servoed up is five pounds two ounces each. On baby, her Wing panels are 4 lb. each. And if I remember correctly the Big Orange Sukhoi Wing panels weigh about the same as my 260 wings. The big Yak has 3 Hitec HS 7954's per wing, the 260 has 2 HS 7950's and...
