    Scale Plans built P-51

You'll be surprised at the lay down of this paint. Course if you are painting the entire plane, then yes...probably quarts. Maybe gallons. LOL

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Dude, that table saw is the bomb huh? Sure makes things so much easier. Just out of curiosity, do you have a scheme planned for this? Or are you going with the normal Cub Yellow?

IMAC Aero Tech 35% Velox Custom Build

That's pretty much my procedure. Back in the day I omitted this step and discovered that the finish is much better if the skins are sanded "before" they are glued onto the foam. The plane I did back then still came out pretty nice, (Lanier 1/3 scale Lazer) but it was a lot of extra work due to...

    News AeroWorks Closing 10/28/2016 TODAY

So, don't quote me on this. However I did read on that other site, (it does have some information available) that the remaining inventory stock from Aero-Works was literally dumped into a dumpster and the powers that be from Aero-Works basically "jetted" to who knows where. I can't remember who...

IMAC Aero Tech 35% Velox Custom Build

So just a minor update on the Velox build. I did get skins for the turtle deck and forward hatch made up. I have the skins now placed in the foam cores with weights on them until the glue cures. In the meantime, I looked over the plans and the fuse. I really don't like the stab attachment...

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Oh heck... that is BIG! Most definately get a Pegasus for it. You'd be so cool, you'd need to be defrosted before you flew. I don't think the "Cool Meter" even registers that much cool factor does it? Oh heck, me too!

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Sorry about your friend Snoop. In his memory, fly a flight for him each time you go out. The 8.5 WCL is a great number to shoot for. Anything between 7 and 10 is actually desirable. It definately makes a difference on how a plane responds in the air. Not sure my H9 Sukhoi is even close but the...

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

There could only be one thing more cool than this. A four stroke red headed 220. Omg, I would die.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Zactly. No prop hanging. But consider this. The 320 might be more power than needed, it's just plane, (pun intended) awesome. The cool factor needle pegs all the way over and breaks off as you fire one of those up and then blast off! Cool factor needle now broken. Lol

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

For what it is worth, I had a Pegasus 320. Ran it a couple of times but never installed it in a plane. Just wasn't my style at the time. Now i wish I still had it. Omg, talk about a sa-weeeeet sounding power plant. Would be so perfect for that cub.

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

Google translate... huh, who knew? I mean I guess Google does everything else right? Lol. And I would agree completely. Franchement c'est un travail minutieux et impressionnant Roger

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

:laughing:Just seeing if you were paying attention. Actually for a 1/3 scale, perfect engine size would be a nice little 60-70cc twin right? Never owned a cub but so many people are really enjoying them it seems. Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a little 70-80cc quad?

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Got bored tonight before going to bed at a decent time. So I decided to do something I wanted to try. I bought a roll of carbon fiber decal material for the big 330. I wanted to add a little bling to it when it is all covered. So what the heck? Lets see how the Baby Yak-ster looks with a little...
