I think they are 5". The 110 only came with 4.5s IIRC.

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

The issue is how the cables will hit the fuse because they are designed to go at a certain angle. @lovesxtra came up with a below the arm standoff idea, but that has a lot of stress on the assembly. Based on my need for a motor for the Drastik, which was previously setup for a DA-60 and my...

    Joe Nall 2014!!!!

Reserved one of the premium RV spots with hook ups. Probably be break even since we won't have to run the generator. Got about half the planes prepped already. Wish I had more room to bring some planes to sell.

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc) The pipe needs to go back several more inches. This was clearly designed to have no servo in the way. The amount above the canister mount is how much room I have for a servo. I will see if elevating the servo leads to wire issues or not. This is all making me...

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

All this talk got me motivated to work on mine. Just hit a major snag. RE2 won't fit with the existing rudder servo location. I can run the Pitts muffler I have already and call it good or attempt to modify the rudder servo up. I don't see a place to put it in the rear for a push pull. Not sure...

    Extreme Flight 104 Extra

They are very nice. I have them in my two 120cc planes, Bigfoot and the Drastik. Something I did on accident the first time was to get 12" and 6" male and do the opposite females so that when you plug in the wings, you can't plug the 6" to the 6" as they won't reach so you can't plug the wings...

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

Ah geez. Maybe I should order up some more 32 oz tanks. I am going to change my 92 to one as I was only getting 7 mins with a 16 ounce. There are not very good options in 20 ounce clear tanks. The 2 wrong way sells are based on smart water round bottles. I have one in my 88 and I used triangle...

    New to 3DHS.....

Xoar wood tends to let you run a slightly bigger size as it is not as heavy of a load on the motor. I would say Xoar 14x7 or APC 13x6.5. I run a APC 12x6 on 4s on my omega 130/48" velox.

12S power systems ideas and options

I went ahead and ordered a A60-8S finally. I did up a Pilot 25% Sbach electric (for the e-line at Nall) with a A60-6XS with poor results. Despite putting 2 6s 3300 and 2 2s 4000s in the battery tray for ballast to finally get the CG correct, it did not fly very well at all. The current theory...

I seem to remember Chris saying it was a bad batch, and newer batches have solved the issue. Contact them about it. They have been very on top of this issue to date.

Best Place to Buy Wooden Electric Props

I have found Xoar to be the best in electric wood props. Falcon makes good carbon stuff. I have had some success with Falcon wood in certain sizes on gassers like their 23x12 has been decent for a sport plane. I am extremely lucky that a young heli guy took over the LHS and has slowly been...

Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

What is the next largest electric airplane you have had? Maybe this is just the difference in size. 60" electric is a stupid powered class these days with 6s setups. My first 60" edge originally had a 3620-750, which was similar in can dimension on a 4s setup. There is no comparison to the...

EG 120cc Slick By Aztech Aeromodels

I put a 50 oz in my piped DA-120. 32 was not enough for decent flight times. I use a 32 in 120 I run on cans and that timer is set to I think 11 minutes.

Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

http://rcwebclub.com/PropEngine.aspx I don't have the prop constant for a Xoar wide blade prop, but this is the info from your data. You batteries are sagging to 3.75V under load which is fairly normal. Aeroplayin might be able to provide more help as this is his calculator. In...

Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

At full throttle what is the voltage sagging to? You can plug that into the prop engine to see what it tells you for watts in. I know when I had a A60-5S, I was using weak batteries, and that was most of my issue with getting power out of it. In the castle I could change a setting to get...

Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

If not, just do a throttle to throttle mix. This is what I do for a idle down on my gassers. I have not had a electric yet that needed the idle up deal, but whenever Tyler or Cody fly my planes they trim up the the throttle channel to do this. I just got a Gecko 155A for my A60-6XS and I was...

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

I have mucked around a bit with mine. Got the wings all done and the elevators setup. I ran the pull pull wire, but then I got distracted with my trailer and my other project which is going Nall and this plane is more than likely not (I only have room for 3 giants including Patrick's). The...
