Actually "metal off metal" would be more accurate. Loose or "oversized" plug caps can cause "Arching" and result in RFI. Also keep in mind that the higher the input voltage the higher the voltage to the spark plug. Examples.. Input- 6VDC = 12 to 14KV. That's potentially 14,000 volts to plug...

You too! I had that same exact plane (same green white black scheme). Flies awesome! Ran 2 2200 3S packs in series with it to keep it light and got 6-7 minute flight times w 14x7 prop. Plane met its demise in a most unusual way.......Wile driving home in my Ford "Ranger Danger" a delivery...

Got the wires stuffed in and all electronics working properly except for the elevator and aileron servos. Will get that done over the next few days and hopefully the ZAP560 and u-trim will be here so I can finish the cowl and canopy. Don't have "snakeskin" so I made the best of the few miles of...

The two 3000ma 2S receiver packs I got for it weigh 10.2 oz together. I got the "sliding" battery tray installed per the owners request so when it comes time to balance 4-6 oz probably going to be needed up front. Thanks for your help brother.

DLE 55 with a large pitts muff is about the same weight as the 60 twin with in cowl muffs. I think the Sukhoi and Edge are similar. Does your Sukhoi balance on the wing tube? and do you remember the weight of your batteries? The owner wants free access to the batteries for quick change and easy...

@HRRC Flyer Can't speak for Doug but I have found that a "flight controller" or 3 axis stabilization does wonders for EDF's and "squirrily" small foam planes like the QQ Extra and RockStar. My RS bipe is terrible in flight characteristic with the controller off but with it on it is amazing how...

Now that the hard part is done it's pretty much shove some wires and screw down a lot of little screws. All the plumbing complete. I just so happened to have a black dual switch to coordinate with the black fuel dot. " And I don't know why???".
