Gotta have a nice instrument panel. www.iflytailies.com has some very nice stuff for scale birds. I used their 1/3 scale aerobatic plane package for the instruments, with additional radios and switches package, to go on this CF/balsa panel. 9462 is a slow cure, but extremely strong epoxy. Also, you can apply it on a vertical surface or the underside of a piece...it does NOT run. ElectroDynamics does, although not sure how high theirs is rated for voltage. I have one in my Krill for a landing light....works great.- Pistolera

Although in a strong crosswind the plane will be crabbing into the wind, so you might as well spin it in that direction. I've seen winds that had the plane at a full 90 deg crab, so the first 1/4 of a 1 1/4 spin is already taken care of....just spin 1 rotation and you're golden!- Pistolera

Hey Tom....in the upper right hand corner (just above the 1st post on each page) you should see a the words "Watch Thread". Click on that and it'll give you a couple of options. On my screen it's dark blue lettering on the lighter blue background, so easy to miss.- Pistolera

Don't you ever sleep???? I use the 1/8" panels from ACP. I believe it's 3 mil CF on each side of the end-grain balsa. I wick thin CA into the balsa to add compressive strength where needed, or if I want a more finished edge for cosmetic reasons. Neat stuff, light and strong, but can be a bit...- Pistolera

While I'm on electrical, here's the forward tray that hold the Throttle servo, Optic-kill and ignition battery (or TechAero BEC). Again, CF/balsa laminate, 4-40 blind nuts secure it inside the motor-dome.- Pistolera

Yeah, I used the mutliplex 6 pin as I recall. Hard-mounted the ones in the fuse...the wings will simply plug into these before installing the bolts. These pics also show a single Futaba rx on a Smart-Fly PE. I'll probably end up using dual Rx's....just for extra redundancy. I made up a little...- Pistolera

Gas & Smoke Krill sells (at least with the 35%’er) a fiberglass tank tray that is molded for round bottles. I like Fiji 1 liter bottles so invested my $ in making a flat tray from CF/balsa laminate. Rick...to answer your question, I think it'll be enough. The canopy itsel;f is very flexible when off the plane, so I'm not sure how much structural integrity it adds when bolted into place? I'm sure there is some though. With the X-bracing, the added rear bulkhead and the way the latches lock...- Pistolera
