    I have deviated from scale with a couple of things....primarily splitting the ailerons.  I'll get into those shortly.  Don't be nervous....once you get used to working with composites, they're just as easy to repair....only different materials and glues.

    Thanks guys....it's disease  Stang...the latches came from F3A Unlimited...  http://www.f3aunlimited.com/hardware-and-building/canopy-latches  looks like they're out of stock right now.  They are the highest quality latches I've seen.

    From what I've read on-line CF shafts run from 0.275" to 0.400".  The ones I used I just looked at in a sporting goods store and thought "that looks about right".  There is a whole science of CF arrow shaft stiffness, called "spine" that comes into play in archery.  I'm like you though, triggers...

    IMAC Dalton 300 ml build thread.

    Cam...when you see the Gorilla Glue expanding and oozing out like that, go ahead and wipe it off.  Keep some alcohol handy to saturate paper towels and it wipes right off.  Much easier than cleaning it up and sanding after it cures.
