Tail Wheel Steering, Springs vs Fuel Tubing or other setups
I've had the standard style compression springs setups on 3 different planes and have never had any major issues. Set them up so they are just shy of slack (not tight, but not loose) when the tail wheel is off the ground. When resting it will have a little bit of slack, but still provides good...- Pistolera

Another thought would be to extend the torque tube through the root rib into the fuse, where it can be driven using conventional arms and capabilities of torque multipliers via arm length ratios. Yep...they are nice. Also, Iflytailies.com makes some great stuff. I used their instruments and switches to make this one for my 35% Krill. If you want something simpler, just google for photos of Extra 300 planels and print them to the size you need. Take it to Staples, etyc and have it...- Pistolera
