I wonder if Leo got the molds for the one RC City used to sell when he bought up all their stuff.

Here's a video of it. You can hear that gear drive of his Super Tigre's, the Tartan was the choice of many others at the time though.

Would that be the Skybolt that had the 2 Supertiger 90's geared together?

Working with Fiberglass — Finishing model parts

Nice article. I use the same materials, but I don't add the denatured alcohol and I spread the resin with a very flexible thin very smooth piece of plywood. There is a couple of things I don't like about thinning with alcohol, but the main thing is you can end up with more pinholes that way. But...

Landing with crosswinds and no headwind

Can you give us some idea of your setup. Airframe, engine, prop things like that. Do you use an idle up switch? A forward CG can also make for long landings. But like everyone else has said, practice, practice. You can also try these for making it stop quicker. White Rose brakes

Frank Tiano, Candidate for AMA President

We here at GiantScaleNews try our best to get along and have friendly and sometimes spirited conversations about things. What you wont find here is the type of flaming and trolling that you see on FG all the time, that is the relevance. Differences of opinions and points of view are great, but...

Frank Tiano, Candidate for AMA President

I wasn't minimizing anyone's flying skill. The statement was made as a joke. That's why there is a winking smiley at the end of it. It's become obvious you just seem to be here to stir the pot and try to cause conflict. This isn't FG.

Attention, Hobby Flyers: Come Monday Some Of You May Need An FAA Drone Pilot Certificate.

If past history is any indication, what the law says is irrelevant. It's what the bureaucrat thinks it says.

Landing with crosswinds and no headwind

Another way to slow landing speeds some times is a prop with more diameter and less pitch. It's amazing the difference an extra inch of diameter can make for slowing some airplanes.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Looks like a steamy one around here tomorrow. I'll torture myself and go to the field and sweat. It's never a problem till you have to pack up and go home then the heat always gets to me. Even a hot day at the field is better than any day at work.;)

As someone that flies Heli's I'd like to think there is a little more then blade count as the difference between the two. In my eye it's the fact that my 92 year old father could fly a drone probably has something to do about that.;)

Landing with crosswinds and no headwind

I've haven't had to make any true crosswind landings in a while since we have an L shaped runway, but I do practice my side slips and crabs a lot just to make sure I remember how.;)
