    Basic engine tuning.

One of my DA50's does that. If you try to just land, fuel up, and fly again it's a total pain to restart. If you let it cool for say 15 minutes, it will start on the first flip almost every time. If you wait more than an hour you have to choke it again.

I think a new thing I'm going to add to my routine is to turn on each switch separately to check that A. I plugged in the battery for that switch and B. That switch actually still works.;)

Some browsers if set to "private" will not store passwords since they don't store cookies. Having to reset your password every time you visit sounds like a job for.

Triple Tree Aerodrome, AOPA Mag Article

Awesome! I never knew the story behind it all. The R/C hobby and aviation in general is blessed to have people like Mr. Pat. It's great that there are people with the resources that go out of they're way to share their love of aviation. Especially when they are goal is to get new people...

Thanks to all the build thread contributors

There certainly is a lot of good info in the build threads here. A lot of guys have done multiple builds here Like @Terryscustom @orthobird and @acerc and others and they are full of good info and ideas. Terry has even done a few "How To" threads that I found very interesting like: How to split...

I'm going to make up a small check list of things to do before the canopy goes on. I have been forgetting more and more things lately, and soon I'm going to pay for it. Sunday when my friends and I were cleaning our airplanes before loading up to go home we were discussing charging batteries...

Where should build and assembly threads be? POLL, please vote!

I almost never look at the forum listings anyway, because I usually only use the Watch Threads and New Posts buttons. I can find anything I'm interested in there. Also my scratch build project really doesn't really fit into the Scale, IMAC or 3D categories. It's Scale ish but not really a scale...

I was going to use a paint roller Sunday when I went flying because I had poison ivy on my hand and didn't want to drag my glove on and off over it. I couldn't find any of my painting supplies at home, so I decided to pick one up and the hardware store that's close to my house, but they weren't...

    Ignition straight into powerbox?

Are you going to do a build thread here? I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.

It's just about identical to this one that belongs to Kelly from our club that created the BumpController. The only real difference is that Kelly's uses a PowerLab 8 Dual and Jeff's has two PowerLab 6's.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I had forgotten totally about that. I'm going to try and get out there, but Saturdays can be a challenge for me. Jeff, the guy that's running it is one of the Sunday diehards that fly with my buddy Tony and I. He was showing me his new charger setup Sunday. It was built by Kelly from Revo, and...

Peak Models 32% Extra 330 SC

Mine is a DA50 with a stainless header and a KS can and a Falcon carbon fiber prop and a Du Bro tank. I have 2500ma A123's in mine, but I also run a 2300ma Li-Ion ignition battery. It was 17.5 without fuel. I may put it on a diet later this year.

    GP 88 Evo thread

It's all good! I checked it all when I had it apart. There seems to be good seal on the carb to the aluminum adapter and to the reed block then engine. I checked the pulse line since I changed it to be able to flip the carb 180 to make the linkages work out when I first installed it. I wanted...
